Solinc installs grid-tie system on own roof

Solinc has installed a 40kW solar system on its own roof which will dramatically reduce the monthly electricity bills. Instead of paying 16 KES/kWh + VAT to KPLC the company expects to save over 1 million KES in the next couple of months.

“Every company who wants to reduce both their monthly expenses as well as their ecological footprint should implement such a system. The pay-back is less than 6 years while the solar panels will give you output beyond 25 years. Simple mathematics” stated managing director Haijo Kuper.
